When: Saturday, April 22, 2023
Time: 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Where:  LaVista Community Center,8116 Parkview Blvd, La Vista, NE 68128
Instructor:  Rhonda A. Berman
Class Fee: $45  (All Supplies included)
Class Level: Beginner

We will be making a pendant using zippers and roving. The zipper is hand sewn on to wool felt making an outline of a design. The inside is then filled in with wool roving using the technique of needle felting. Then beads and other embellishmnets are added. The pendant is finished with a bead embroidery edging.

The charm will be made of shrink plastic with various beads and metal pieces. The process of decorating the plastic piece with colored pencils and melting into a mold to achieve the bead cap shape will be explained. It is assembled into a charm and attached to the pendant with the beading edging.

This class is open to all skill levles. If you can thread a needle, you can do this art form; however, very sharp needles are used so it is preferable if students are at least 12 years of age. Needle felting and beading experience are a plus, but not a prerequisite for this class.

All materials are provided by the Instructor.

Class fee: $45
Class time: 4 hours
