Copper Etched Jewelry

All supplies are included. Tools: Students must bring gloves and reading or safety glasses. Class Level: Beginner Learn how to turn copper into beautiful jewelry pieces that you design. We will be learning so much in this workshop. We will create a pendant and a custom cuff bracelet. Design your own copper etched piece of jewelry, patina the jewelry, and combine jewelry components. You will also learn how to assemble a leather cuff bracelet with rivets and snaps. It's a great way to make something special! Limited space available for this workshop. |
Crystal Leaf - Wire Weaving

Previous experience working with wire is a plus. Make this beautiful copper and crystal leaf using basic wire weaving techniques. Students will learn how to weave and form the piece. |
Peyote Petal Earrings

Working with Resin

Herringbone Bracelet

Making Lampwork Glass Beads
When: Sunday, April 23, 2023 Time: 130 PM - 330 PM Where: LaVista Community Center, 8116 Parkview Blvd, La Vista, NE 68128 Instructor: Jeri Wiskus Class Fee: $60, all supplies included Class Level: Beginner In this class you will learn all aspects of lampworking to create your own glass beads. The class starts with and overview of safety, equipment and then dives into bead making using hot head torches. Each student will try to make 4-5 glass beads. Students are asked to bring safety glasses or reading glasses. Kit includes some beads to take home. |
Creating with Cyanotypes
When: Sunday, April 23, 2023 Time: 215 PM - 345 PM Where: LaVista Community Center, 8116 Parkview Blvd, La Vista, NE 68128 Instructor: Steph Wolcott Class Fee: $35 All supplies included Class Level: Beginner We will create art with a fun Printmaking technique: cyanotypes. This is an exciting photographic printing process using the sun. This process is a very old photographic process. I love using plants and other natural items in this process and watching the magic happen. We will create unique art work and a jewelry project in this class. Supplies: Students must bring gloves.
