You should be able to finish the bracelet during class. The kit includes Tila beads, choice of assorted size 11o seed beads, Drops, Fire Line, needle, and Clasp. When: Saturday, April 26, 2025 Time: 10 AM – 1215 PM Where: LaVista Community Center, 8116 Parkview Blvd, La Vista, NE 68128 Instructor: Angie Simonsen Class Fee: $85 Kit Fee: $10 Leather Cord or $20 Copper Chain Class Level: Experienced Beginner or Intermediate This class will guide you thru the art of wire shaping, weaving techniques and bead placement to create a unique and personalized dreamcatcher. You'll learn how to create a sturdy wire frame, weave an intricate web, and embellish your piece with beautiful gemstones that add meaning and energy to your design. Perfect for an experienced beginners and intermediate wire artists alike, this class offers step by step instruction, tips for working with wire and inspiration to make your dreamcatcher truly one-of-a-kind. All materials will be provided to create the pendant, including copper wire, an assortment of gemstone beads, and the tools needed for forming, shaping and weaving. Kit Fee: $10 for leather cord or $20 for copper chain to complete a necklace. The kit fee is payable to the instructor. Supplies & Tools: All forming tools are provided by the instructor. Students should bring their own set of wire cutters, round nose pliers and chain nose pliers. |

Use your creativity to craft a 3D design in your trinket dish using beads, charms, stickers, glitter and other fun components by layering and curing UV resin. Kit Fee: None. The project kit includes: faux leather notebook parts, embroidery and bead needles, embroidery thread, seed beads, glitter pen and notebook. There is no additional kit fee. Honey, I Shrunk the Zipply Art! Mini Charms Class When: Saturday, April 26, 2025 Time: 1230 PM - 430 PM Where: LaVista Community Center, 8116 Parkview Blvd, La Vista, NE 68128 Instructor: Rhonda Berman Class Fee: $45 (All Supplies Included) Class Level: Beginner We will be making Mini Charms using zippers, roving and embellishments. A zipper is hand sewn onto wool felt making an outline of a design. The inside is then filled in with wool roving using the technique of needle felting. By using a smaller zipper, the mini charms are about the size of a quarter. Time in class will allow for the making of 1 possibly 2 charms. There are 4 different sets to select from. Bugs, Flowers, Hearts and Christmas. Students will learn also how to prepare a zipper and apply a pattern. Instruction of needle felting will also be included in this class as well as embellishment tips. Finishing options will include examples of how to use the mini charms and a list of additional tools needed (jump rings, plyers, etc.). Some options are listed below: Bracelet - Dangle Charms or linked together Earrings - different charms or the same in reverse (will show how to flip the design) Knitting markers Buttons Kit Fee: There is no kit fee. Supplies: All supplies to complete at least two charms are included. Tools: The instructor will provide all tools needed in class. Students should bring their close up glasses if needed. |

Instructions will be provided for Diagonal, Vertical, and Horizontal striping patterns. Students will be able to start each one, but will not be able to finish in class. You will have the knowledge needed to finish at home. Kit Fee: There is a $35 kit fee, paid to the instructor at class time. The kit includes 3 colors of size 11o Delica beads, fire line, a needle, and instructions. Students may choose from the following colorways: Red/white/blue Black/white/gun metal Purples/white The instructor will provide all tools needed for the class, including scissors and beading mats. |

You will also learn to add a layer of UV resin to your pendant to ensure everything stays in place A wide variety of 'bits and bobs' will be provided for students to choose from. Students are welcome to bring some of their own treasures to include in their pendant. Kit Fee: None. All materials are included in the class price. Learn paper techniques, develop pop-up skills, and create fun themes for this unique approach to a photo album. Photos are not necessary to adhere during class. If you want to bring photos, they should be 2.5" x 2.5". Kit Fee: $0. All materials are included. The kit includes: pre-cut Paper, mechanism diagram, & grommet. The charms are constructed using satin cord, focal beads, bubblegum beads, and other silicone style beads. You will learn to use a handy bead stringing tool that simplifies the assembly process. The class is suitable for all ages, although younger kids will need some assistance from their grown-up on the stringing and knotting techniques. Kit Fee: None. The bead stringing tool, hardware, and other materials will be available for purchase if desired. Supplies: All supplies are included. Tools: All tools will be provided by the instructor. |

After Party'. The After Party is hosted at the Foxy Squirrel Bead & Boutique on Saturday night from 6 - 9 PM. The Foxy Squirrel is located in Rockbrook Village @ 2936 S. 110th Ct, Omaha, NE. During the After Party, Stephanie and Diana will instruct attendees in how to make three fun projects with a boho vibe: Luxe Leather Loop Earrings featuring trendy colored leather loops accentuated with a wire wrap of Toho seed beads The Baroque Knotted Bracelet utilizes chinese knotting cord in a simple yet elegant knotted design that highlights the beauty of the Baroque pearls The Boho Beaded Tassel highlights beautiful handmade focal beads with sections of beaded macrame and a playful beaded fringe that adds sparkle and pizazz! The tassel can be finished as a keychain or charm. All supplies are included in the registration fee and any tools will be provided. Light snacks will be served and attendees are welcome to BYOB! |
