In the class, you will make a broach/wall art using a zipper which is sewn onto the wool felt backing material. The zipper becomes the outline. Wool roving is then needle felted. Then embellishments are added.

Create the sweet, swirly heart bracelet with a beaded link chain. Students will learn how create a hand formed heart focal point and heart clasp from sterling silver wire, including a bit of wire weaving to complete the large heart shape. Also, basic hammering and finishing techniques as well as designing and making beaded links for the bracelet chain using beads of the student’s choice. The instructor will have selection of beads as well as small Swarovski crystals available to accent the heart if desired.

Prerequisites Needed: While this can be considered a beginner class, some previous knowledge of working with wire will be beneficial but not required
Tools Supplied: Instructor will supply all tools (Chain nose pliers, flush cutter, round nose pliers, hammers and bend block). If students have their own tools, they are encouraged to bring them. Will also provide silver wire, beads and crystals to create the students design.
