Shrink Plastic Jewelry Components
Shrink Shrank Shrunk! Remember how much fun Shrinky Dinks were when you were a kid? In this class, you will discover that fun all over again as you explore techniques for making funky, whimsical jewelry components out of shrink plastic.
Students will have the option to use paint markers, colored pencils, alcohol inks, and permanent markers to create their mini masterpieces. We will use a toaster oven or heat gun to shrink and mold the student designs into charms, bead caps, dangles, rings, and more that can be used to create jewelry or other accessories.
All supplies and tools are provided by the instructor. Additional kits and templates will be available for purchase from the instructor.
